Purex Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar Review & Giveaway

 Who is ready for a new review and an awesome giveaway? Purex has given me the chance to try a laundry bar that has been around for over 100 years. Wow!

 Let me tell you a little bit about the Purex Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar. It is a laundry bar and a stain remover that is formulated to remove tough stains such as: perspiration, dirt, grease and oily stains. Don't forget that nasty, dirty ring-around-the-collar stains that we all get. Yuck!

To be used to PRE-TREAT stains:

1) Wet the stain with a bit of water or dip the end of the laundry bar in to a bit of water then rub bar on the stain.

2) Wait one minute then wash laundry as normal.

To use as a LAUNDRY BOOSTER:

1) Grate 1/16th into the washing machine along with your normal laundry detergent.

2) Wash clothes as you normally would.

 If you have a serious stain you can use a soft bristle brush to help the Fels-Naptha Bar really get in there to work on that stain. The bar also has a pleasant scent, which helps doing laundry feel like fun instead of like doing a chore.

 I tried the Fels-Naptha laundry bar as a pre-treater on one of my favorite winter robes. I dripped a chocolate fudge pop onto my robe. That will teach me to NOT eat and walk at the same time! I made a little mess. I just got the end of the laundry bar wet and then rubbed it on the stain....super easy! Then I put it into the washing machine with the rest of my load of laundry.

I think it did a great job at removing the stain! What do you think? I know I will continue to use this awesome laundry bar! So easy to use and doesn't take up much space in the laundry area. It is easy to find at my local grocery store or at several of our other local stores.

SheSpeaks Review: Lancome DreamTone Customized Skin Tone Correcting Serum

 When the chance to try Lancome DreamTone Serum was offered to me by SheSpeaks I jumped on it! I couldn't wait for the package to get here. I hate to say it, but my skin is starting to show signs of aging. At forty-three years old I need to get some help. So let me tell you a little bit about Lancome DreamTone Customized Skin Tone Serum.

 Lancome DreamTone is the next generation of  dark spot reduction. It is formulated to help diminish dark spots, reduce redness, acne scars and help even skin tones. It is customized for your skin tone with three lightly tinted shades:

• 1- Fair/Light: Dark Spots & Uneven Skin Tone
• 2- Medium: Dark Spots, Uneven Skin Tone & Sallowness
• 3- Dark: Dark Spots, Uneven Skin Tone, Acne & Blemish Marks

I choose Fair/Light because I have light skin and I am troubled by redness. My skin has become rough to the touch along with a few dark spots have also showed up. I started using Lancome DreamTone twice a day on my face. I use it under my moisturizer in the morning and at night. I have to say that I was amazed at how soft my skin felt after only a few days of use. I am also happy to report that it didn't make my skin feel tight, itchy or worse....red and blotchy.

 As I continued to use the Lancome DreamTone Serum I saw my skin start to have a healthy looking glow. I saw my dark spots lighten up a bit. I am still surprised at how soft my skin is now after using the serum. I have now discovered how nice it is when I apply makeup. It acts like a primer on my skin, so my makeup glides on and doesn't pull my skin when I apply it. Which is a great bonus! I will continue to use the Lancome DreamTone Serum and I will update you after I have been using it for a full eight weeks. I would give this product a four out of  five stars at this point in the trial period.

74% saw glowing skin*

70% noticed a more even skin tone*

4 weeks:

69% saw the appearance of dark spots reduced*

 I have to say that the one thing that is a big disadvantage is the price ($98.) is a little high. However, it is a large bottle of product and you only need a little bit each time you apply it. So the bottle of Serum might last a long time. That will make the price more reasonable.

Puffs Fresh Faces Review And Giveaway

  I received a great surprise in the mail recently! I opened the box and these awesome products from Puffs Fresh Faces were waiting for me to try them. The timing was perfect because I was just getting over an awful cold and my nose needed a break from dry tissues. After several days of using dry tissues on my runny nose these wipes felt like silk on my sore nose. I tried the Fragrance Free Puffs Fresh Faces wipes first and they helped to soothe my sore, red nose!

Puffs Fresh Faces Fragrance Free 

 Puffs Fresh Faces are nose and face wipes with natural saline, aloe and vitamin E that clean, soothe and refresh. Of course they are alcohol FREE! Yay! They come in a variety of scents: Fragrance Free, Light Lavender, Fresh Scent and The Scent Of Vicks. They are available in 45 count or 15 count. The 45 count has a great pop-up top that keeps them from drying out and makes it easy to use and store them on my bathroom vanity. The 15 count has a resealable opening and that makes it perfect to keep in my bag so I will have them when I need them.

 In addition to using the wipes on your sore nose they work great to remove make-up. I have sensitive skin and a hard time finding products that clean without making my skin red and irritated, but these wipes did a great job! No redness, tightness or stinging. My face felt clean after I used the Light Lavender scented wipes and didn't have any residue left behind. These are great for anytime you need to freshen up a bit. I love them and will continue to use the wipes as a part of my beauty routine.
