Summer Entertaining With Blue Diamond Almonds!

Summertime is here! 

Cookouts, boating, camping, outdoor festivals and our state fair is starting soon. Lots of family and friends to entertain this summer. Good thing I have some Blue Diamond Almonds on hand to keep them happy. 

Blue Diamond Whole Natural Almonds are a great source of protein to help keep everyone satisfied between mealtimes. They taste good right out of the container or add them to some popcorn, dried fruit (raisins, banana chips or dried pineapple) pieces, chocolate chips and make a snack mix. 

Blue Diamond Rosemary & Black Pepper Almonds are a little bit spicy! I need a little cheese and crackers when I snack on them. I love them with cheese and crackers. I think they would be great mixed in with a salad, too. They are a little too spicy for me right out of the container, however, my friends loved them.

Now For What I Thought Of Adovia Mineral Eye Gel:

I liked how quickly it absorbed into my skin. It wasn't heavy or greasy at all! It was very light and a little bit goes a long way. This jar will last me for a long time. I am using it in the morning and at night before I go to bed. I think it has made the skin around my eyes look and feel softer than they were before starting the Adovia Eye Gel. It feels really relaxing to apply the eye gel around my eyes. The eye gel has no scent to it that I can tell which, I love! Sometimes I feel overloaded with all the different scents when I use multiple products.  I also, really like how it has plumped up my skin around my eyes. I will keep using the Adovia Mineral Eye Gel.

I received a great package from Steelmaster & the Shoplet.com blogger program recently. It had three different products for me to try out and review.  

Steelemaster Tablet Stand is a great A frame stand for 7" to 10" tablets. It can be positioned for landscape or portrait viewing. The easel design doesn't interfere with the screen controls. It is angled just right for reading, gaming, watching movies or viewing pictures. The heavy-duty, steel construction is coated with chip-resistant and scratch-resistant finish. It also features a nonskid padded base that stays put without scratching your desk, coffee table or counter tops.

 MMF Soho Pen and Note Holder is a nice, sturdy note and pen holder that organizes your pens, pencils, note pads, papers or CDs. It has four compartments for pens and three slots for note pads or papers. It is made of steel and the powder-coat finish resists scratches and chips.

MMF Store-it Box in Red is a really nice sized locked storage container that is made of metal and has a scratch and chip resistant finish. It measures 7" x 7 1/2" x 7 3/8" which, is great for locking up jewelry, cash or small electronics. I decided to use my Red Store-it Box for keeping all of the cold medicines, pain relievers, vitamins and children's cough medicine locked up. I have a key on my key ring and now I know that any kids in the house can't get to the medicines without an adult helping them. I store it in my kitchen cabinet and it fits great on the shelf.

I am always looking for stamps and now I have the perfect place for them, on the 3-in-1 magnetic section of the planner. The cork board section will soon be filled with appointment and business cards from our favorite local businesses. I will be adding my envelope of coupons onto the cork board section, too. I can't forget my coupons for my shopping trip.

HSI Professional Leave-In Hair Treatment With Argan Oil Review

I love Summertime! 

My hair, however, does NOT love the heat and humidity that we have here in the Midwest. It is causing me nothing but grief. I have tried so many different hair products to try to tame my unruly and frizzy hair. I have shelves loaded with conditioners, sprays, gels, creams, foams, mousses and several leave-in conditioners. So, when I got the chance to try HSI Professional Leave-In with Argan Oil, I jumped on it and waited for it to arrive. 

I was a little scared to try an oil on my hair. I had memories of products that I had tried years ago and they weren't good ones. The products that I had used before left my hair greasy, flat and left a residue on my face from my long hair rubbing on it throughout the day. Yuck!

Now for what I think of HSI Professional Argan Oil:

I used the Argan Oil for the first time, on my wet hair, before I used the blow dryer to dry it. I used just a little bit on the ends of my hair and then ran my fingers through the the rest of my hair. Then I dried it with the blow dryer. I wasn't trying to get my hair straight, just control the frizz and flyaway hairs. I liked the way my hair felt after using the HSI Professional Argan Oil before I dried it. It left my hair feeling soft and looking shiny....not greasy.

I also tried the Argan Oil on my freshly washed, conditioned and dried hair to see how it would work on my dry hair. I did my usual routine with my hair and at the end I spread a little bit of Argan Oil on my hands, then I scrunched my hair in my hands, while taking my hands down the length of my hair. Finally I put a little more oil on my hands and smoothed down any flyaway's that I saw. I was very happy with the way my hair looked after using the Argan Oil. I really liked that it didn't make my hair greasy or weighed down. A little bit of this leave-in hair treatment goes a long way. This bottle should last me awhile.

Now For What I Think Of The 4x3 Motion Digital Pocket Pedometer:

This digital pedometer is ultra slim and fits into any pocket. It came with an adjustable armband and a strap. I had a hard time getting the strap onto the pedometer, so I just strapped on the armband and started my daily routine: vacuuming, laundry, taking the dogs out to play and doing the grocery shopping. I realized after a couple hours that I was competing with myself.....I HAD to add more steps! I love that I can put it into my pocket and it can keep track of my steps, even if it is upside down. The sports timer is a great feature that I will using in the future. It really did make me aware of how many steps that I took in a day. I can't wait to see how many steps I can get in by the end of the month.

  I love the pink storage clipboard! It is great for storing pictures, scissors, pens, glue sticks and other supplies for when I do my scrapbook pages. It is easy to carry all my supplies inside and take with me in my backpack when I want to go to a friend's house and chat while we work on our scrapbook pages. The Glue Stic works great for putting embellisments (ribbon, bows) onto the scrapbook page. The Glue Style Pen is awesome for making lines and shapes that I can sprinkle glitter onto. The memo sized Recycled Clipboard makes it easy to keep track of  the supplies that I need to get at the craft store.

I got another Adovia skin care product to try recently.....Adovia Moisturizing Mineral Soap! As soon as I opened the package I was loving the scent. It is crisp and clean, which I like a lot. I couldn't wait to try this mineral soap!
