Now for what I thought of the Bee Sili Ice Pop Molds:

 I love that these ice pop molds are reuseable, dishwasher safe and can be used for snack foods, too. I put a couple in the freezer with my favorite drink: chocolate milk. While those were freezing, I packed a couple with some great snacks: almonds, peanut butter candy pieces, little marshmallows, toasted coconut pieces and my favorite dry cereal. 

 I love the bright, fun colors of the ice pop molds. I can easily find the one that I want after I put them in my tote bag. They are easy to use, easy to clean and fit nice in little hands at snack time or when we are on the go. The lids fit good, I didn't have any spills or leaks when I used them. I will keep using my Bee Sili Ice Pop Molds.

It has been a very humid summer here in the Midwest this year. My skin can use a good cleaning to get rid of all the dirt and dead skin cells...yuck! I was very happy to get the chance to try Adovia Natural Sulfur Soap. Keep reading to find out more!

Now for what I thought of Adovia Natural Sufur Soap:

It lathers well, rinsed clean without leaving any residue behind and left my skin really soft. I don't love the scent of the soap, it reminds me of how it smells in the Dr.'s office. It isn't a bad scent, just not a favorite of mine. 

I started using the soap slowly, as stated by Adovia. It did make my skin a little red and my skin stung for a little bit after washing with it, however, it all settled down after a bit. I will keep using the Adovia Sulfur Soap on my face a couple times a week. I will also continue to use it as a body soap, it really made my legs feel soft after using it in the shower.

This digital pedometer is ultra slim and fits into any pocket. It came with an adjustable armband and a strap. I had a hard time getting the strap onto the pedometer, so I just strapped on the armband and started my daily routine: vacuuming, laundry, taking the dogs out to play and doing the grocery shopping. I realized after a couple hours that I was competing with myself.....I HAD to add more steps! I love that I can put it into my pocket and it can keep track of my steps, even if it is upside down. The sports timer is a great feature that I will using in the future. It really did make me aware of how many steps that I took in a day. I can't wait to see how many steps I can get in by the end of the month.

I have never cooked with a ceramic frying pan before, so I was very curious to see if there was a difference from my regular nonstick frying pan and the Ozeri Green Earth Textured Ceramic Frying Pan. I was pleasantly surprised with the results and the clean up when I cooked with the pan. Let me tell you a little bit about the ceramic frying pan.

I made a grilled cheese sandwich in the frying pan for my lunch. I thought it did a great job of evenly toasting the bread while it melted the cheese. There were no burnt spots or under toasted parts on the bread. I really like how my grilled cheese sandwich turned out. After I had cooked my sandwich I put a bit of cheese in the frying pan and let it cook. I wanted to see how easy or hard it would be to clean the pan with the cooked cheese on it. I let the pan cool while I ate my lunch. Then I took a dry paper towel and wiped the pan clean. The cheese wasn't stuck to the bottom of the pan! I was really surprised that the cheese wasn't stuck to the bottom, I know it would have been in my other non-stick frying pan. I was very happy with the clean up! I can't wait to try some burgers in this pan next!

Rush Hour Jr. Traffic Jam Logic Game Review

 I recently got picked to try and review a great kids logic game: Rush Hour Jr. by ThinkFun. I had never seen or heard of this logic game until now however, I am a big fan of all kinds of games. We love to play board games, video games and card games and I really like it when a game gets the kids to think while they are having fun! That is exactly what happened when we played Rush Hour Jr.!

 Rush Hour Jr. is a fun problem solving, single player, game for kids ages 5 & up.....I had fun, too! The goal is to get the ice cream truck out of a rush hour traffic jam. You do this by picking a card and positioning the car game pieces on the board with the ice cream truck in the position that is shown on the card that you picked. Then you shift the game pieces that are blocking the path for the ice cream truck forwards or backwards or up and down the game board so the ice creak truck can move off the board. You win when once you can slide the ice cream truck out the exit on the game board.

 The levels of the challenge goes from easy, medium, hard to super hard. I have to tell you that I tried a medium card and didn't get the ice cream truck out of the traffic jam. Let me tell you that the kids will never let me forget that I couldn't do it the first try. I had a blast trying the game and the kids laughed so hard when I lost. They could not wait to show me how it is done...right! I love that Rush Hour Jr. gets them excited and makes them (and me) think when we play it. 

 There is more to this game than just fun for the kids. It helps them with being able to focus and pay attention, to look at a problem (the game board) and think through the steps to solving the problem so they can win the game. Finally, the confidence that they gain by sliding that ice cream truck off the game board makes them want to try the harder levels. I know that this will be a favorite game in the house from now on.

The fillets are great with mac. and cheese, peas and a dinner roll. I loved them in a soft shell taco with cheddar cheese melted on top. Yum! I can't wait to try the Southwest Tortilla next!
